The Rotary Club of Esteban Echeverria (Club n°) together with the Municipal Polyclinic Sofía Terreno Santamarina and the Department of Health of the Municipality are carrying out a project which we have named Project "C.H.A.A.R.I.M-" which is the abbreviation of the Spanish "Multi-disciplinary Hospital Capture for High Risk Infantile Care". This project is designed to attend outpatients by extending the Hospitalization Facilities outside the actual Hospital environment in order to support the patients after being released from the Hospital. This project is so necessary since the outpatients do not return to the hospital to continue their recommended treatment due to their economic situation and distance from the hospital.
We have attached a video and several photographs which depict in greater detail the motives of the initiative behind this project.
