Commune 2 Barrio Santa Cruz, is located in the Northeast Zone of the city of Medellin, Colombia. The 11 neighborhoods comprise 108.703 inhabitants.

From a total of 30,207 homes of 11 neighborhoods, 4,130 are classified in stratum 1 (low-low) and 26,107 in stratum 2 (low). They have few opportunities for recreation, access to art and cultural promotion, healthy recreation and use of leisure time of children, youth, adults and seniors.

"NUESTRA GENTE" Cultural Corporation is a nonprofit organization that works with the community, leading spaces are formed in different arts and not engage in criminal activities.

The Corporation had the support of Medellin Nutibara CR through a grant of U.S. $ 30,000, which was used to purchase musical instruments, through which many artists have formed today are younger teachers.

Requires:

a. Through the program "Artists that build citizenship," the Corporation transforms people to develop skills that contribute to building a new society where human dignity becomes the supreme value to structure social relations.

b.Provide theater with 120 seats improve the technical structure, increase stage lighting and sound quality. This requires two lighting console, two dimmer, 2 cabin units, one 16-channel console, two signal wires ten ellipsoidal type spotlights ten Iuz projectors fresnel type.

c. Having air conditioning equipment.

d. Improving communication equipment used in the room.

e. Improving the library with specialized books.

It will have many benefits, mainly:

1. The community will have a theater with the appropriate technical infrastructure in which children, youth, parents, families and seniors may remain in the training and screening processes that are part of their life projects.

2. The community leaders have an airy space for community events.

3. The scene settings have better technical resources that will contribute to a better bill works.

4. Adequate space for projection of video bands and concerts

The project has a cost of US42.000, which will be allocated in full to the purchase of tools and improving the conditions of modern theater
