To improve the well being of the needy families in the community through empowering them to practice basic community health care, promotion of water conservation techniques and integratee farming.
The project will meet those needs by providing a total of 10 water tanks to the most needy families, providing at least 100 mosquito nets to the most needy families, provide an income generating activity through sustainable organic agriculture and provide scholastic materials, school uniforms and school shoes to the most needy children.
The timeline for the project is a one year project.
Note: as of July 1, 2015 there is a 5% additional support fee for cash contributions. This fee does not appear in the financials above because it does not apply if the funds are sent directly to the project account (without going through TRF, and therefore without Paul Harris credit). Clubs sending their cash contribution to TRF must be aware they will have to send an additional 5%.
