Project Description Region: Asia Country: India Location: Kolhapur Total Budget: $30,000 Area of Focus: Basic education and literacy Rotary Club of Karveer Kolhapur desires to donate 1000 school desks to various schools in and around Kolhapur. We have more than 350 rural based schools that do not have the basic amenity as school desks. In order to manifest our quest of providing better atmosphere to the poor students to come to school we have decided to donate around 1000 desks to atleast 20 schools as a start up to facilitate more schools in future.The total cost of the project is US $ 30000.My club & District shall contribute US $ 6000 and we solicit International partner to contribute and the equate amount shall be fetched from TRF.
