This school receives children with autism to teach them how to deal with their desease and how to live in community despite of their limiations. Our Rotary Club has already developed many projects there including air-conditioning their rooms, equipping a computer room as well as a toy room addapted to their needs. This is our most challenging project because we'll transform an obsolete area of more than 200 square meters into a recreational and educational area including a fully covered court, a sensorial garden, a sand tank and a playground. Our club has already raised around 100 thousand dollars for the construction work and needs support now for this project of equippments for these areas. In these areas, the kids will be able to have different kinds of lessons to teach them how to deal with their limitations in different settings. Our expectation is to start demolition in January, construction by late January or early February and equipping around May so that it can be delivered in this Rotary year for our community. Our club members are fully involved because our work together was responsible for raising the 100,000 dollars necessary for the construction work.
