Brenda Ogershok has been selected as one of two Global Ambassadorial Scholar candidates for 2014/2015. She plans to study critical theories of civil conflict and the social dimensions of post-conflict reconciliation in divided societies at Goldsmith's, University of London. She plans to focus on the role of the Arts in mitigating violence between formally warring societies. The Masters degree in International studies will provide a foundation for her future teaching career and establishing effective community programs to prevent and heal social conflict. The funds from the Rotary Foundation will be used for tuition and living expenses for her year in London
