Project Description Region: South America Country: Brazil Location: São Bento do Sul Total Budget: $30,346 Area of Focus: Disease prevention and treatment We, from the Rotary Club São Bento do Sul, always believe that the health is our greatest treasure. Our city has 75.000 inhabitants and only one hospital. Unfortunatly our federal and state governments don't meet our hospitals with all equipments they need. So, we are focused on keeping our hospital well equipped with everything they need -from simple food warmers until they need and may be within our reach. So far we contribute with U.S. $ 8,000.00 for the hospital of our own money from our promotions. We know we can do much more. But we need a partner to do it. With those equipments we are looking for, our hospital will provide to our population a best life quality. It is a simple project: it will only take the time to purchase the equipments after we receive the capital and entrust them to the institution. We think it will take only two months.
