Selected community(reciptments): 100 children, teenagers and their families who belong to Salve un Corazoncito Ñero programme from Conciencia Social Foundation. What happens after children receive their medical treatment or surgery?: After surgery patients do not receive any intervention, aid or training focused on improving their living conditions, life quality or family cohesion. What are we looking for with PAINA project?: Train children and their families. To provide psychosocial therapy.Create a multidisciplinary professional group providing support for children and their families.Analyze, measure and assess social impact of the programme.Improve living conditions of children and their families. History Log Entries 29-Aug-14 by Maria Claudia Perez lopez Conciencia Social Foundation:It’s a private NGO created 18 years ago by a group of professionals who were interested in the development of this community by working together with other NGOs, public sector, unions and the private sector. Programme: Salve un Corazoncito Ñero: It’s the flagship program of Conciencia Social Foundation. More than 500 low income children had received surgeries or medical treatment. Programme objective is to connect children needing medical treatment and heart specialized centres such as Clinica Fundación Cardioinfantil de Bogotá. One of the most important children’s heart clinic in Colombia.
