The project is intended to provide a water harvesting system for several schools in Gomba District, 75km from Kampala -Uganda's capital city. Rainwater will be harvested from school buildings and channeled into large concrete water tanks built at the participating schools.
This water will then be used during the dry season when this area suffers from extremely dry weather conditions. The members of RC Mityana will be responsible for the implementation, monitoring and reporting on the project to all stakeholders and Rotarians.

Project Status
Dropped
This project has been "Dropped". Check the history log entries to see why it was dropped.
Note: as of July 1, 2015 there is a 5% additional support fee for cash contributions. This fee does not appear in the financials above because it does not apply if the funds are sent directly to the project account (without going through TRF, and therefore without Paul Harris credit). Clubs sending their cash contribution to TRF must be aware they will have to send an additional 5%.
