Ludhiana having a population of 4 million and the migrant labour is around 1 million which has come from the other states for employment.Mostly these belong to the poor strata of the society. There are a no. of Diagnostic Centres in Ludhiana but none is working on Charitable cause. The project is to buy a CT SCAN machine for a Charitable hospital and start that on Charitable basis. The private centres are charging around US$35 per scan which is essential to diagnose a disease. With the start of this centre we propose to charge US$ 20 from the community and US$10 from the poor strata and totally free for the exceptionally poor .The club members will be involved right from the project planning stage to the Project execution stage which is a great responsibility. The project funds will be used for buying a CT SCAN Machine. The project will be completed within 90 days from the receipt of the grant funds.Further the students from the medical background will be given training in operating such equipment which will generate employment as well.
