"Sabanilla" is a small area inhabited by parents and families of 56 very poor people of Samborondon, all referred to do not have any water distribution system. The purpose of the project is to improve the life style of these 56 Ecuadorian poor families by means of improving the distribution of potable water extracted from a well, through the installation of a system, and providing coverage to community houses, installing a pipe water distribution, currently there is not any pipe and community is not supply with water.
The supply of water in good conditions and required amount will reduce the diseases associated with bad quality consumption water.
After an assessment, Rotary Club "Samborondon" with the support of a Civil Engineer has committed to manage and supervise the execution of the projects listed below, which will be partially built by community residents.
The objectives of the project that will be executed are the followings:
a) Construction of the water distribution pipe system
b) Provide installation for connection with each household
The project will be organized and supervised by a committee formed by Samborondon Rotary Club, professional friends of the club and community members.
The main activities of members of Samborondon Rotary Club will be as follows:
a) Supervise design and execution of the tasks considered in the project.
b) Organize the beneficiaries and the activities that they will develop
c) Supervise the construction and implementation of the project
d) Prepare reports to the Rotary Foundation and sponsors
