We recently found out after a year of waiting that the Host Rotary Lira is not qualified and we are seeking help from DGE of Uganda Jayesh Asher and F. X. Sentamu to find us a suitable qualified nearby Host Rotary. Hopefully, we get some help soon in finding a suitable Host Rotary and get this fine project going soon.

From D5340 DRFC Janice Kurth -- this grant was approved for D5340 DDF in July of 2015. We note that authorization from D9211 appears to be all that is lacking on this application. The limit for submitting a grant to TRF per our Committee guidelines has been surpassed. Please update me on the status of this grant. The DDF will be made available for reallocation to other projects if this grant is not submitted to TRF in a timely manner. Replies/inquiries may be individually sent to jkurth1@san.rr.com.

Dear Grant participants,

This grant has been approved for over 18 months now for D5340 DDF, and is only lacking authorization for submission. We have other clubs in our District that have their grants completed that would like access to this DDF. Because of the LONG delay in submitting this grant, we are going to have to consider removing our DDF support in order to support other grants that are progressing if we do not get this grant submitted by FEBRUARY 14. Please advise as to your course of action.

Sincerely, Janice Kurth, DRFCC D5340 jkurth1@san.rr.com

31-Jan-17

This global grant was delayed because of Host Kitgum Club Rotary "Qualification" which is finally 90% complete. It is expected that this Host Rotary qualification should happen hopefully within the next two to three weeks or earlier and request our district 5340 to hold the DDF for us until then.

18-Apr-17

by Venky Venkatesh

Application to Rotary Foundation not sent because the Host District DRFC & DG have not authorized/signed the application. They are waiting for Kitgum Host Rotary in Dist 9211 to be "qualified" to take up the project. This project may have to rolled over to 2016-17 rotary year.
