Area of Focus: Disease prevention and treatment

Dhankuta is a neighboring district of our club's location, Dharan. Dhankuta has 40 around villages, some are almost remote and not having road access. Some have road access but difficult to go for a medical treatment in nearby hospital. Dharan and Biratnagar has good medical facilities, but for the villagers with low income it's almost difficult to get these facilities. Among these villages Dandaabazar is RCC of our club. We frequently organize health camps there and other villages. Where we go for these camps, the villagers always ask for an ambulance facilities is a must for prevention and rapid recovery from health problems. So we have decided to prepare a global grant for 3 ambulances to foster support to the villagers. Including Dandaabazar there are 2 other villages are Leguwa, and Yangshila Morang. Yangshila is also another remote village of Morang district.
Ambulances are available on government rebate on taxes, so it can be purchased in Nepal in relatively low price than other similar vehicle. So we urge for any club or other districts to support.
