Project Description Region: Asia Country: India Location: Mumbai Total Budget: $95,000 Areas of Focus: Basic education and literacy, Community economic development Objective: While the objective of the Knowledge Centre shall conduct Knowledge Enhancement Employment Oriented Courses for Undergraduate and Post Graduate Students, our Club objective is to take up a long term sustainable project. However, we do not envisage any annual expenditure as the project is financially self sustaining one. Courses Currently Envisaged: Six months/One Year Certification/Two Year Diploma with a curriculum covering 190 days/1500 hours per annum. We also aim to go for degree college in future. Knowledge Contribution by Club: We will be formulating the curriculum, identifying and employment of qualified faculty, marketing and finding/tie-up with mentor companies for on-the-job training/ employment jointly with the trust nominees on the Governing Council. Besides, members would be able to volunteer quality time to assist in day to day operations of the center.
