Isolo - Opin is community ravaged by extreme poverty and because of the poverty level parents give out their daughters early in marriage and these teenage girls are made to become mothers even as babies themselves. as a result, the girls have various medical problems during and after each pregnancy. some of them are two small and their pelvic cannot withstand the rigors of childbirth resulting in VVF and sundry medical issues and furthermore there are regular cases of premature births without incubator to save the lives of the babies, mothers are also not exempted as some bleed to death under these condition. The community medical center is but a prescription center as there are no equipment or facilities to curb these. we plan to equip the health center to handle basic health problem in the community and safe the lives of both mothers and their babies. with equipment in place, qualified medical personnel will save the lives of these girls and others in the community. the funds will be used to buy hospital equipment, beds etc and the project will be completed within one year of commencement. Members will be involved in educating, monitoring and creating awareness within the community.

Dropped
This project has been "Dropped". Check the history log entries to see why it was dropped.
Note: as of July 1, 2015 there is a 5% additional support fee for cash contributions. This fee does not appear in the financials above because it does not apply if the funds are sent directly to the project account (without going through TRF, and therefore without Paul Harris credit). Clubs sending their cash contribution to TRF must be aware they will have to send an additional 5%.
