This entity , the only region that offers free care to people with Autistic Spectrum Disorder has as beneficiaries people - children and adults - the very city of Maringa , as well as other cities in the region , as Ourizona , Mandaguaçu , Paiçandu , Sarandi Marialva and Campo Mourao. Currently, 95 people are met and there is a waiting list of about 70 . Esta entidade, sendo a única da região que oferece atendimento gratuito a pessoas com Transtorno do Espectro Autista tem como beneficiários as pessoas - crianças e adultos - da própria cidade de Maringá, bem como outros cidades da região, como Ourizona, Mandaguaçu, Paiçandu, Sarandi, Marialva e Campo Mourão. Depois de um longo estudo e avaliação das pessoas atendidas na entidade, estudo este efetuado pelo professor de educação física e da equipe do Curso de Fisioterapia da Faculdade Uningá, percebeu-se que se fazia necessário a utilização de materiais mais apropriados para melhor desempenho da atividades físicas, proporcionando uma melhor qualidade de vida aos autistas e no futuro a seus familiares e comunidade de seu entorno. 3. The project will be developed in the space of Maringaense Association of Autistic, and all participants will undergo evaluation with the aim of increasing the service to achieve better results. Among the main aims of the AMA, we highlight the promotion of efforts to locate, guide, support and bring together people with autism, explaining to relatives about mechanisms of convenience and treatment. "Our goal is to encourage studies and research on autism and develop support programs, adaptation, rehabilitation and social integration, without distinction of race, color, social condition, creed or political leanings." The organization's goal is to promote specialized multidisciplinary care and training of professionals ( psychologists, speech therapists , educators , psychologists , occupational teraputas , physical education teachers , physiotherapists, to use appropriate techniques for the development of children. It is true that any sports practice, in general , helps in interaction with others , increases self-confidence, self-esteem and enhances interpersonal media. Gymnastics is a great option because it is a very complete sport, because it works , strength, balance and flexibility. It is important to be aware that it is not the practice itself that will help in the development of autistic children , but in how it is applied , as proposed interaction with others in how the activity will help maintain the conviviality. O objetivo da entidade é promover atendimento multidisciplinar especializado e capacitação de profissionais (psicólogos, fonoaudiólogos, pedagogos, psicopedagogos, teraputas ocupacionais, professores de educação física, fisioterapeutas, para utilizar técnicas adequadas em prol do desenvolvimento das crianças. É certo que qualquer prática esportiva, de um modo geral, auxilia na interação com outras pessoas, aumenta a autoconfiança, autoestima e amplia os meios de comunicação interpessoais. A ginástica é uma ótima opção, por se tratar de um esporte muito completo, pois trabalha, força, equilíbrio e flexibilidade. É importante ter a consciência que não é a prática em si que vai ajudar no desenvolvimento da criança autista, mas na forma como é aplicada, como é proposto a interação com outras pessoas em como a atividade ajudará na manutenção do convívio. 1.
