The project will benefit the community of mabocha illage ,in burgersfort, Limpopo province.

2. What community needs have been identified? If the activity is a scholarship, enter "N/A".

Admin block , library and a vegetable garden and to maintain the tennis court.

3. How are these needs currently being addressed with local resources and/or government agencies, NGOs, etc.? If the activity is a scholarship, enter "N/A".

The National Lotteries Commission have donated a tennis court but we have no funds to maintain it . we have tried to seek donations from local companies with no success.

1. Summarize the proposed activity(ies) in 250 words or less, including the need it will address, the intended beneficiary(ies), and the potential benefits to the community.

the first project will be an admin block ,we are presently using a classroom as an office and storage room. having admin block will let us move out from the classroom and learners use the classroom for attendance, so as to avoid multigrade classes.

2. a library will help our learners read and other learners from the nearby school to use it as resource centre.this will uplift the starndard of literacy in the community.

3.we have a vegetable garden in the school but our problem is lack of water.we only have one borehole at the schoo which supply the learners for drinking, cooking and also for the garden.during winter we experience of scarce water .an extra borehole will help.

4.To hire an admin clerk at the school will reduce the office workload from the teachers .the admin clerk will help in photocoping ,typing ,filling documents and the teachers will have more time to teach the learners which is the co-business of the school.

the community will be involved in the ploughing and maintaining the garden of which the vegetables will feed the orphaned and vulranable children.

learners from the surrounding village will use the library to study.

yes. we have called them in a meeting to explain our proposal and they were highly interested.
