What are the main objectives of the project, and who will benefit from it? The project is to equip the Cancer Hospital of Presidente Prudente with two endoscope washers. It is an indispensable equipment in endoscopy and colonoscopy exams aiming at disinfection and safety procedures. The beneficiary, Cancer Hospital of Presidente Prudente, is already a reality. It was built with donations from the city population and also from the government. The equipment is being purchased, installed and commissioned, serving a large number of patients, who are the main beneficiaries. Endoscope washers, which are the objectives of our project, will help with the improvement of the care service. Which area of focus will this project support?

Rotary Club de Presidente Prudente - Rosa dos Ventos will be supporting the Rotary Club Presidente Prudente - Leste in this project. Rotarians in the community and region have also been responsible for donating money to build the hospital and now fundraising campaigns to acquire equipment and operate the various services that current take place and those to come. In this project, clubs, local partners, strive for the success and execution of this project, in all its phases until the final implementation of the project. They will carry out any financial arrangements that we may have. After the machines start operating, the Rotarians will continue to be responsible for supervision and follow-up. Humanitarian Projects - Project Planning Describe the community needs that your project will address. It will provide the necessary interventions to support and prevent those suffering from all types of disease, as well as provide data for researchers and the medical community to learn about the causes and prevention of the disease. How did your project team identify these needs. Request from the hospital itself to the Rotary club How were members of the benefiting community involved in finding solutions. Through the need to expand care to patients who seek the hospital for examinations and treatments. How were community members involved in planning the project. The community of the city and region is unanimous in their help and donations. This has been happening since construction and now, in the acquisition of hospital equipment. We will work through disclosure of the beginning of activities of endoscopy and colonoscopy exams in the city and region. Training in the use of equipment in all areas that the hospital needs, such as nurses, medical assistants etc. How were these needs identified? Through the need for examinations and requests from patients seeking care. Through publicity and help in fundraising campaigns. List any community members or community groups that will oversee the continuation of the project after grant-funded activities conclude. No. It was selected by the Hospital because it is an equipment that requires technical knowledge for purchase decision. Please provide an operating and maintenance plan for the equipment or materials you purchased for this project. This plan should include who will operate and maintain the equipment and how they will be trained. This will be made by the hospital itself through its nursing staff and doctors.
