Humanitarian Projects - Project Planning Describe the community needs that your project will address. The project will address water and sanitation needs of under served primary schools in Masaka city. These schools have a total population of 2,590 pupils. The most pressing sanitation challenge in these schools is the lack of toilet facilities, lack of reliable water supply and poor or lack of school kitchens. How did your project team identify these needs. These needs were presented to the Rotary club of Masaka by one of the members working with Masaka city council. In one of their monitoring visits as the city council, he observed the very poor toilet infrastructure in three schools. When he presented the idea to the project committee, the team met with the city education officer who joined the team in conducting a needs assessment where the other schools were also identified. How were members of the benefiting community involved in finding solutions. The project team held meetings with the members of the school management committee. The school management suggested the possible solutions and prioritized the needs. How were community members involved in planning the project. In this case the community was represented by the school head teachers and his/her deputies. they participated in the planning meetings with the club projects committee and they suggested the possible solutions to the identified sanitation needs of the project Humanitarian Projects - Project Implementation Summarize each step of your project's implementation.
