The beneficiaries of the project: Women aged 35-50 who live in the rural areas (villages, towns, districts and neighbourhoods away from the city centre), living in prisons, low-income who are unable to go to the hospital on their own and who has lower level of awareness of cancer.

Goal of the project: There is not any mammography device in rural areas. Approximately 380,000 free breast screening to women who live those areas targeted by the project, and those who are at risk will be directed to the nearest public hospitals with these mobile units .Addition to this, in order to raise awareness of this issue among the women, vehicle will be parked in some areas such as large fairs, concerts, huge organizations to make free tests and distribute information leaflets about the breast cancer.

Breast cancer is one of the most important problems that threaten women's health. There is an increased risk of breast cancer in one of every 8 women. When diagnosed early, it could be treated. After cardiovascular diseases, cancer is second cause of death both men and women in India . The most common cancer type is breast cancer.

The area lacks proper diagnostic centers for any type of Cancer and the person need to travel for about 500 ksm either direction for proper tests. Hence timely tests are rare and disease is not identified it after it is almost incurable. NGOs and Hospital grable with problem but lack proper tools to help effectively. Also distances are far and road not hospitable. This Bus will makethis porcess very usely

Section C: Activity Description

1. Summarize the proposed activity(ies) in 250 words or less, including the need it will address, the intended beneficiary(ies), and the potential benefits to the community.

The project will be conducted by Dr. Ulhas Patil Medical College & Hospital with a protocol. According to this protocol, the mammography device and the vehicle, equipped with technical equipment, will be provided by the Rotary Club of Bhusawal Tapti Valley, will be assigned to the Provincial Health Directorate. On both sides of the vehicle, Rotary International logo and names of clubs that donate money, will be written with name of Dr. Ulhas Patil Medical College & Hospital.

To reach the villages and towns; one specialist doctor, one nurse, one women's health expert and driver will be given by Directorate of Health. The vehicle will park in front of the health centers, in order to test women who constitute the risk group, invited with the announcement.

The test results will be evaluated by experts and delivered related departments. Furthermore, results which could indicate diseases will be delivered the nearest state hospital to make detailed examination and to begin treatment.

Basic beneficiaries will be women folks they sahll tested in camps free of cost. Local NGOs and other organisation like Medical Associations shall be requested for helping us organising camps and identifying areas where we need to take the Bus.
