 Kushtia is a district town. Eye hospital is conducting microsurgery since January 2002 housed in a rented accommodation. A six storied eye hospital building is being constructed by R C Dhaka North. Construction started on February 28' 2007. We completed ground floor and first floor with reception, hospital office, account office, two number doctor's chamber and patients waiting room with toilet facilities for patients and doctors in the ground floor and two operation theatres and doctors room and accommodation for 10 patients in the first floor. R C Dhaka North is contributing to the construction of the hospital building through donations from rotarians, banks and business houses. The project will help poor people to under go eye surgeries at free of cost also. We have spent over TK. 45 lac (USD60,000.00). We need Tk. 60 lac (USD 80,000.00)more to complete the remaining four floors.We have operating microscope,A B Scan-biometry,Automated Field analyzer, slit lamp appasamy, keratometer appasamy and many other requird equipment. We need the listed items to supplement the existing items. Passanger lift for use of the patients generally old and week in health. Beds for the new hospital building. Air conditioners for operation theatres and guest rooms being built in 5th floor with IT facilities for guests and conference centre.
When completed in six floors it will have floor space of over 18,000 sft. |
