 The project is to support education of rural girls and boys in kenchalgudu,a village about 15 miles from mysore.The benefeciaries are M/S Divya Deepa Charitable Trust (www.divyadeepatrust.org)The school runs entirely on charities and presently houses 35 children with plans of increasing to 100.Trained profeesional volunteers who are already registered willbe brought from the city in an out reach vehicle and training will be imparted to children with learning disabilities.The project will support the housing needs of 100 children,solar lighting,electrical generator,out-reach vehicle,multimedia equipments and equipments for a dispensary.Land and building needs have been gifted to the beneficiaries.This programme will change the lives of children with learning difficulties who otherwise end up as farm labourers.A population of 0.1 million will be covered. |
