There is no such medicines for Thelesemia Major.
So a Prevention Is Better then Cure,Awareness of this disease in local public especially in rular area where most of N.G.O.s.,Media,or Govt.could not reach we can easily reach by mobile van having trained nursing staff,and voluntares who can give their service to mankind for speedily spreading this disease.
As we in Rotary spending crores of money for Polio, we should be alert for this Disease also.
By having mobile van we can collect blood samples for Thelesemia Test,We can educate rular people for this disease and also we can conduct Blood Donation Camp for affected patients. |
