Description of the project:
The main purpose of the Project is to protect children from the microorganisms which are very dangerous for the health. As it is known, toilets are the most appropriate places for the microorganisms to live and increase. Unfortunately, in the existing circumstances students in Kemer Merkez Primary School are drinking tap water from the toilets using their hands. In order to adjust this system which is very far away from hygiene, 10 pieces of stainless steel water fountains will be installed to a place in the garden, so that the students will be able to drink water not from the toilets, instead they will be drinking water from the fountains that are installed in a separate construction located in the garden. All the installation labor, engineering, transportation will be supplied by rotarians and school workers. Also, the complementary equipments like pipes, gaskets, etc. will be purchased by the school and Rotary Club of Kemer Antalya.
Aim of the Project
Briefly, the main purpose of teh Project is to help nearly 600 students studying in Kemer Merkez Primary School, to drink tap water from clean stainless steel water fountains located in the garden without using their hands, instead of drinking anti-hygienic water from the toilets by using their hands.

Responsibilities
The Head Of The Project : Kemer Merkez Primary School
The head of the Project is responsible for the implementation of the Project from the beginning to the end.
Activities
1. Kemer Rotary Club will be respnsible of production, transportation and installation of each fountain.
2. All the transportation, installation and labor will be done with the help of the rotarians, sponsors, school workers and volunteers.
3. All the necessary complementary equipment like gaskets, steel pipes, turns, etc. will be purchased by Kemer Merkez Primary School and Kemer Rotary Club.
4. The supplying company will supply the necessary technical support and guarantee.
Estimated budget
Total cost of the Project : 15.000 USD
There are some additional equipment to be provided by the school, Kemer Rotary Club which are not included in the above amount.
Contribution of Kemer Rotary Club : 2.000 USD
Contribution of Distrcit 2430 : 1.000 USD
Purchase of Equipment, Materials or Supplies
1. The school will own the equipment
2. The school will be responsible for maintanence, operation and storage of the equipment
3. The equipment will be purchased within Turkey |
