The Project will take place in Mbazzi Village,Mpigi District. Residents engage in Subsistence farming with low yields,the surplus sold off.Over 100 families to be involved in growing hybrid maize under supervised modern farming practices to ensure high productivity.Funds shall buy maize seeds,,herbicides,knapsacks,insecticides,fertilizers,maize huller and miller plus agricultural education.The project is expected to raise the incomes of residents and lay ground for rural integrated development,thereby fighting poverty,a major problem in the area.
