 We had identified that in the city of Yumbo, Zone 1, which has 70.000 residents, are family head’s women and 390-000 are scholarship age children. It is possible to take advantage of women potential of learning an art or labor that will allow them to have a permanent income & cover their families’ needs, at the same time that their children can come back to school (there is a prostitution diagnosis due to the lack of employment in this population segment). Our project has the objective of stopping children’ work and provide a source of work for those families.
The project will endow this community with machines for clothes & shoes manufacturing, giving them the opportunity to elaborate and offer to the local market school uniforms, industrial uniforms, underwear clothes, accessories, dolls and, in leather, purses & belts. |
