 The project is to be started at rotary dialysis centre which will be set up at Goyal Nursing home , Pathankot . the project will cover the population of nearly 20 lac people in and adjoining rural areas of Pathankot which are very backward. the people are so poor and the kidney disease is also very much prevalant in them because of illiteracy, lack of awareness, dependency on quacks for medical treatments and inability to get their diabetes or high blood pressure treated which are the main culprits behind kidney disease. These people require twice a week dialysis which along with the drugs will cost them about 113 usd per week . this figure is much beyond their imagination because most of them have a weekly earning of nearly 20 -30 usd . Due to lack of affordability these people end up missing their dialysis , or borrowing money by mortgaging their land or house or personal belongings of doing illegal activities or THEY DIE WITHOUT TREATMENT. Sometimes they end up loosing all their belongings in saving one person and the whole family suffer for long time to come .

the grant budget will be used for :
2 dialysis machines -- 2 * 11000 usd = 22000 usd
ro system -- 4000 usd
2 multiparamonitors for patient monitoring - 2 * 2000= 4000 usd |
