 Our current goal is to provide quality education to as many children as possible and we believe providing computers for students is important - and getting them into the hands of young students is even more important. The computer is an essential part of education today and statistics show that students who do poorly in conventional classroom education seem to thrive in the computer laboratory, usually improving their reading skills by several grade levels after just a few weeks of instruction. We hope to place computers into the hands of children as they prepare for further education and the work place. We have an opportunity to purchase refurbished computers for our school, Hand of God Academy. We will also hire a full time teacher for this project. The cost of these computers and teacher's salary is $10,000.00. |
