Rain Water Harvesting
$20,000
Jinja Hospital is a Regional Referral Hospital catering for over 4 million people in Eastern Uganda. It caters for about 200,000 outpatients and 28,000 inpatients a year.
The rainwater harvesting will enable the staff and patients to be able to use the stored water for various cleaning duties which currently means lining up to use one of the few taps that are available.
The project is expected to improve on the cleanliness of both the hospital and the patients. |
