Jind is a District Head Quarter having a population of 2,50,000.It has one Civil Hospital and twenty other prominent private hospitals.There are four cremation grounds situated at a distant place alongwith the city. The people face great difficulties in carrying dead bodies to the cremation ground and particularly in bad whether the situation become more worse and pitiable.The city is fast developing and eight sectors of HUDA have been carved and many new colonies are coming up having distant locations.Funeral Bus is the need of the hour of the city and no doubt it is the basic need of the public at large.It is a noble cause and the inhabitants of the city and the area will be benefited by it .It will give a healing touch to the residents of the city and a great respect to the departed soul,If the dead body is taken to the cremation ground in a dignified and graceful manner.

Accordingly it is proposed to provide a Funeral Bus to the city for carrying dead bodies to the cremation ground with the help of International sponsor.The cost of the project is about 21,000 US doller.It is worth to mention here that Swargashram,Jind a charitable organization of cremation ground ay Railway road ,Jind has consented to keep and maintain the said Funeral Bus.

The cost of project is estimated to be US$ 22,650-
