 Mussoorie is a small hill town situated at an altitude of 6500ft above the sea level at the foothills of Himalayas. The town has a population of about 40,000.
Rotary Mussoorie has been taking project for the welfare of children from low income group from time to time. We have successfully provided Hepatitis A vaccination, School Uniform, Hemoglobin Test and Iron Supplement to about 1000 children in the age group of 5 to 10 yrs during the year 2007 –2008.
Now Rotary Mussoorie plans to cover about 2500 children from low income group in the age group of 11 to 18 yrs by providing them Hepatitis B Vaccination, School Bag & Stationary. These children brave the life with deficient food, inadequate medical facilities and often using used polythene bags in the want of school bags.
The project will provide facilities to each child as under:
1.Hepatitis B vaccination
2.SchoolBag 3.Stationery
4.Lunch
