 The information about the Project is as follows:
Nangle Bhare VDC-7 is one of the remote VDC of Kathmandu District. This hilly area project is situated in the North East corner of Kathmandu valley and it is 26 km from Kathmandu. The people of Nangle Bhare VDC-7 are also directly suffering from the scarcity of drinking water. They have to spend a lot of time to collect safe Drinking Water.
The socio economic condition of the VDC as a whole is poor. The inhabitants of this ward are also poor in economic status and less educated almost people depend upon the traditional type of agriculture so they are facing own hands-mouth problem throughout their life period about 60% under privileged Tamang ethnic community and 40% Bhahmin Community people are living in this ward.
The project is pipe lined drinking water supply project which contain 8 separate tapes. The Name of this project is “Devi Saura Drinking Water Supply” This project will be beneficial for 60 families of this VDC-7.
The estimated length of time to complete the project will take 3 months.
Local man power will be provided during the implementation of the project by the benefiting VDC. The Project management will also be supervised by VDC committee. After completion of the project it will be handed over to VDC
management committee and they will maintain the water supply to VDC.
The Rotarian from Rotary club of Pashupati will implement the project and also supervised the project till completion. The club member will also visit the project site regularly and send progress report of the project to RI and to your club. The club will manage project fund as per RI guide line. Club will also publicize project in local media.
Due to the inflation in Nepal the Budget of the project has been gone up since last July 2008 as follows:
