Providing water Filters

Rotary Bangalore Sadashivanagar with RI Districts 3190 assistence is planning to take up Free Distribution of Water Filters to the Needy Villagers, Schools & public Hospitals in & around the City of Bangalore, south of India.

The Grants Budget of 24000 US $ shall be utilized for the purpose of purchasing the state of the Art Water Filters which doesnot require any electricity but still makes the water portable to the standards defined in this country.

Each cost of water filter is around 40$ and we are planning to distribute nearly 600 of them to the needy people. Nearly 10000 needy people would benefit from this project & they shall always be ever greatful to the acts of Rotarians & hence this Novel Project.

We have nearly 6000$ avaialble from the DDF of 2009-2010 & we seek mathing Grants partners for this Novel Project.
