 This project “TheraSuit Room” is aimed to help children with disabilities, mainly Cerebral Palsy in Zaporizhzhia Region. By purchasing this special equipment we will help children to eliminate pathological reflexes and establish new, correct, and functional patterns of movements, which is significantly important for children with CP.According to the statistics, there were 841 children with Cerebral Palsy registered in year 2007-2008 in Zaporizhzhia Region. This number increases annually up to 4% due to ecological, medical, financial and social factors. This problem is becoming critical and needs a close look at it.
The project will take place in Ukraine, Zaporizhzhia city, NGO “People Need People”, which supports Rehabilitation Centre “Ivan” For Children With Disabilities. |
