The Rotary Club of Kiriat Tivon is looking for a partner who is willing to share partnership in installing a Sensory room in the Multidisciplinary Center in Kiriat Tivon. We are looking for a budget of $30,000 of which $8,000 will be provided by the club. we are looking for additional $11,000 from the partner.
Sensory room is made for people suffering from mental disabilities or deficiency. The treatment is based on encourage stimulation of the senses (sight, sound, touch and smell). The principles of the treatments are based on deep research made worldwide.
Installing Sensory room in the Multidisciplinary Center will, at least, double the quantity of clients that will enjoy the center’s benefits.
Kiriat Tivon is located at the centre of the Galilee Region surrounded with people from all religions: Christians, Moslems Jews and Arabs. The Multidisciplinary Center is giving service to all the religions without any discrimination.
We have 18 devoted and active Rotarians in our club. Among the other things that we have done during the current Rotary year, we share donation to acquire ultra sound device for heart artery imaging, we conducted gala evening exposing new film of which all the income devoted to purchasing new toys to playground, we picked excessive fruits from private gardens and designated it to needy people and we share 25 scholarships to outstanding students. |
