Egyptian hospitals are faced with a large number of poor patients that are admitted for a one day surgery and face huge financial burden if they choose private sector hospitals, the fact that makes free health care hospitals under great pressure and continuous need to expand to absorb such a growing number of patients,
El Miri Hospital – Alexandria University is one of the biggest hospitals that serve the north west geographical area of Egypt, mainly Alexandria and Beheira with a total population of about 15 million.
Recently El Miri Hospital decided to expand its DAY CASE SURGERY CENTER to include 50 new beds and 4 DAY CASE OPERTING ROOMS. Each room is expected to serve about 600 cases annually, 25% of total patients traffic of about 2400 every year.
Our project targets to totally furnish one of the operating rooms with all needed equipments namely:
Surgical Monitor
Operating table
Anesthesia unit
Illumination unit operation
Diathermy unit
Aspirations 2 and 4 liters.
Total Cost of project is around $55000.
RC of Alexandria Metropolitan has actually started to exert a lot of effort to fundraise for it's share of contribution planned to reach $5000 and as soon as we receive notice of potential sponsor clubs, we will immediately contact suppliers for more accurate and updated Performa invoices.
