The primary school has over 1000 pupils in a facility designed for 400. It is supported by the national education department but lacks the following:
A fully stocked Library
A Computer Centre
Adequate electricity supply
Sufficient classroom space
The local Rotary Club of Hilton & Howick has, in the past with the support of other Rotary clubs, assisted with some development, but more is needed now as pupil numbers have escalated alarmingly. |
