Water Harvesting Tanks #3

$11,632

The project is to provide Rain Water Harvesting Tanks to 9 schools for safe and clean water .It will be implemented in the poor suburb of Kampala and it will benefit over 3600 children disadvantaged.

Most of these are schools were established by local communities or they are Public Schools(Universal Primary Education)which cater for the needy and the under privileged children from poor sections of the communities, including orphans and the disabled.

Funding of this project will benefit thousands of vulnerable and desperate children in their daily welfare at school and alleviate their sanitation and health plight they endure. Improved Hygiene will help to curb the rampant spread of disease, and save these children from the daily chores of fetching water from distant wells during class time. Also, the project if funded will provide clean/safe water to these poor children and help them quench their thirst for some go through the whole day without a drop of water.
