The senior arm of the Eti-Osa Community High School was adopted by our club in the 2008 - 2009 Rotary year because of the poor condition in which the students have to learn. We began work during the adoption year and have now completed renovation works comprising the installation of Ceiling Woodworks, PVC Ceilings, the replacement of doors, repair of windows and the painting of the six classroom block.
Our efforts at improving the condition of the students is now focussed on the replacement of the desks and chairs in the classrooms and the tables and chairs in the teachers room. The funiture replacement have been partially fulfilled as of May 2010. This posting seeks to complete the project.
There are 800 students and fifteen teachers in the senior high school. |
