	D-1674    Micronesia - Kolonia School supplies $25,000 A school on the island of Pohnpei in Micronesia, Ohwa, is in need of basic school supplies and is expanding into agricultural endeavors. They are teaching all the basic academic programs as well as animal husbandry and farming. They want to be self sufficient in housing many students and providing food, lodging and education from elementary to college level. Funds from this grant will purchase school supplies, books, farm tools, and a boat to assist them with fishing for self sufficiency. All students, faculty and support staff will benefit from this grant. The Coordinating Co-sponsor and the Primary International Sponsor are working on the grant paperwork to send to Rotary International. Project listed for the 2011-12 Rotary Year.
