$40,000
Developing Arab Bani Saleh Village. It is a village related to the governor of Helwan 100 Kms far from Cairo. A village of about 10000 citizens. About 6000 Children. A very poor one, Our club made several visits to the village. Most homes are without water, to get water they have to go walking 3 kms by feet or riding a donkey for three kms to have water to drink. No water at home no bathrooms at all inside or outside the homes. the Water they get from far away is not a clean one as a result, most of the people are sick of drinking unclean contaminated water.
The villagers in this area are very poor and most of them are not working.Homes we have visited had no food at all but dry breads. There is no source of income for the family. We will supply homes with water and will supply three stations for purifying and cleaning water to avoid illness and hard diseases that ruins the Kidney. Kidney failure is the main cause of death for villagers and their children.A clean water will improve health and sanitation in the area especially for children. Supplying and purifying water is one of the important goals for Arab Bani Saleh Village. This grant will solve problem of water and sanitation in this village. |
