Pure drinking water

Availability of clean water is a big problem in many cities of Pakistan. Sahiwal is a 2 million population city and contains high salt contents, ranging from 1500 to 2000 PPM in most parts of the city, which is dangerous to drink according to WHO standards.

Pure water is necessary for life because clean water saves life. Clean water project of Rotary Club Sahiwal addresses most common reason of water problem the excess of salts and microbes, which can be removed by filtration and radiation (UV). Five water filtration plants with the capacity of 10,000 Liters per hour will be installed on different locations of the city to provide clean water to the majority of the poor people of the city.

About 30,000 to 35,000 persons will get benefit from these clean water filtration plant daily.

Water samples has been collected and analyzed from different labs of Pakistan and places have been chosen where the filtration plants are needed.

The project will be completed within twelve (12) months after funding arrangement.
