The project which we have taken up for this rotary year will benefit the rural school where the majority of the students hail from the down trodden poor families who cannot affords the children’s the basic education for their livelihood . This Govt. Higher Secondary School is being run and adopted by Local Community and LOGIX Foundation. Here they give special attention to the education of its students. The school is from play group to Intermediate level. Total strength of the school is more than 400 children.
We have planned to provide a school van to bring the children’s from the interior villages and returning them safely in their homes. We also plan to provide furniture by avoiding them to sit on bare floor and make them to learn without strain so that they can concentrate more on the studies.
We have also planned to provide them the computers and peripherals to provide them basic computer knowledge. Local community and LOGIX Foundation have adopted the school as its club project and plan to provide missing facilities to the school, such as furniture and computers. The project will be completed within five months after receipt of grant money.
The Rotary club’s contribution towards the community will build the image of the Rotary. The missing facilities will motivate students and their parents to continue their studies. This image building will also attract more philanthropists to support this noble cause. The project will be maintained by the board after grant money has been expended. Rotary Club members will continue their visits even after the completion of the project to ensure that the provided facilities are being used properly. |
