Hearse Van Project

 RC Saharanpur continental is proposing a project to buy and donate a hearse van for the needs of the community in Saharanpur municipal area. There are five cremation grounds in the town with a population of 1.2 million having a mortality rate of 45 per day. The boundaries of the town are approx. 15 kilometers. Presently only two hearse vans are available and these are in a bad running condition leading to frequent breakdowns thereby causing a lot of anxiety and difficult moment to the families who have lost their loved ones. The present situation also leads to a not so dignified last journey for the departed souls for final rites. The district administration expresses its inability to buy more hearse vans due to lack of funds. Dead bodies are also carried to the holy town of Hardwar at times which is 80 Kms away.
A hearse van is the most presing demand and need of the community in Saharanpur town. Please support this noble cause and project. |
