Kid's Lives Depend on This

$10,800

The grant budget will be used to pay for expensive diagnostic examinations needed by pediatric patients prior to surgery. These include CT scans, MRIs, ultrasound, specialized blood examinations, xrays and others.

Most oftentimes, children needing surgeries for various surgical conditions are required to undergo diagnostic examinations that are simply too expensive to undertake. These examinations are only available in private medical centers because of the sheer expense of these diagnostic equipment. Though, rates for indigent patients are heavily discounted, such rates remain to be out-of-reach of these patients' families.
