D-1826    US Virgin Islands - Christiansted Boys & Girls Club $10,500 The Boys & Girls Club in Christiansted, St. Croix serves approx 100 children aged 5-17, on a daily basis, and provides a safe enviroinment for children to be mentored, tutored,do their homework and play after school, prior to being picked up by their parents. It operates between the hours of 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. during the school year, and between 8 a.m. and 5.30 p.m. during the summer vacation. The basketball court and surrounding area is unpaved, and it is our intention to have this done.
