The sub-Saharan region of Mali, West Africa has community run schools that are in need of revenu generating programs to provide income to each school to sustain the water, solar, and sanitation equipment. Each school is workingwith www.NomadHope.org to implement solar lighting, clean water tap stands, and latrine projects, but they need a revenue generating component to pay for maintenance and training an an ongoing basis. Each village has asked for a millet grinding machine to establish a millet center that they can run and charge community members a small fee to grind household millet. We are seeking funding to purchase, deliver, install the millet grinding machine and prpvode operator training. |
