Background: PS Mission Hospital is a Christain Mission Charitable hospital with various departments. Recently a nephorlogy department has been started by a leading Nephrologist of about 25 years experience Dr. Georgy K Nainan. Patients attending the hospital are economically poor and they cannot afford spending US$ 15-20 for each dialysis on private hospital in the town. Some of the patients require dialysis daily or alternate basis or some requires once in 3 days or 4 days. Due to poor paying capacity of patients they were not able to pay for each dialysis. Due to this patient delay in attending the dialysis and hence the problems are many. If we give them free dialysis, they can lead a normal life and also they can attend for their duty or earn for the family.
Need : Currently the dialysis is done in private hospitals costing 15-20$ and due to this patients cannot afford in doing dailysis. If we install these two machines the poor patients can be given dialysis free of charge.
This is going to be good community service project. Community will be surely benefited by this project. community.
Benefit to Beneficiary: The beneficiary will be getting the free dialysis. The disposible required for each dialysis will be given free supported by the members well wishers.
Benefit to the community: The Dialysis services is going to serve the Community with free dialsys. The recurring cost like water, electricity and space required will be born by the hospital.The disposible required for each dialsys will be spent from the donations from the members and well wishers. |
