Drinking Water for Schools

Children from very poor background go to government run schools around the Tanuku town in the southern state of Andhra Pradesh in India. This Safe Drinking Water Project proposes to install water purification plants at 8 such government schools. Each of this plant will be either 250 or 500 ltr per hour capacity based on the no of beneficiary children in the school. Latest Reverse Osmosis and Ultra Violet methods apart from other filters are proposed in these plants. Total budget for this Matching Grant Project is 23,000 including the TRF Matching contribution. Contribution from our Rotary Club of Tanuku and DDF from our District 3020 and including the relevant TRF matching we are able to fund upto $16,000. Another $3,500 (including TRF Matching) is committed by Rotary Club of Fairbanks and DDF from District 5010. Total committed till now is $19,500. We are looking for the balance of $3,500 along with a club who can be the official international sponsor (partner) as per the TRF Matching Grant guidelines. We can implementation time for this project is just 2 months we can assure responsible stewardship and timely reporing.
