MATCHING GRANT PROJECT for CEREBRAL PALSY DISABLED, BURSA CEKIRGE ROTARY CLUB
As Cekirge Rotary club; we have started a project for the children suffering from Cerebral Palsy disease. For this purpose; we started to construct a rehabilitation center in Bursa-Turkey including; Physiotherapy and gym, Group and individual training rooms, Workshop, Waiting rooms for families and disabled, Hydroteraphy, Condition and gym rooms, Locker, shoer, WC, Electrotheraphy, Massage Rooms
Bursa is the 4th biggest city in Turkey with the population of 2,5 mio and considering 12% of total Turkey population is disabled, approximately 250,000 disabled people are living in Bursa. Majority of this disabled people are suffering from maternal origin Cerebral Palsy.
Taking into account that currently there is only 1 center serving as rehabilitation center/hospital for disabled in Bursa; our aim is to serve minimum 50 patients/day. To cover the gap.
In order to complete the center; and put into operation we need the following equipment.
Equipment Name: Balance Trainer Device
Aim: It is both up lifting device(easy stand) and standing frame and also biofeddback controlled balance trainer system.In addition to this you can train basically step exercises with it.
Cost: This equipment costs ex-works $10,880. Handling and custom clearance cost is $2,500. Total project cost: $13,380
All our resources are directed to the construction of the building. So, we propose to pay only $1,380 as the Cekirge Rotary Club and look for another club to match this balance amount of $12,000
